A rare item! I don’t think I’ve ever had one of these before... I’ve had stick stands in the past, but never one that has been made by a skilled barrel maker (a cooper). It’s a thing of beauty, I would say early 20th Century 1910/15 & in original condition. Lovely colour, made in oak with four band, very country house.
We will check it over, put it through the workshop, and make sure it’s waxed up before it leaves our factory in Stafford.
