Harold puts half full pint glass on the linoleum centre, pushes the half-eaten packet of pork scratching’s to the side and puts his half smoked non filter ‘woodbine ‘on the edge of the table, and steps up to the oche. Yes, that’s what all the small burn marks are around the mahogany edge of the table!! What a story and what a table made of mahogany, having lovely shaped frieze and tapering slightly splayed legs with ‘Queen Anne style feet’. It stands like a race horse!
