This is a really lovely sofa table in original condition and made around 1830. It has a lovely colour, and as you would expect from a piece of furniture of this age, has the odd mark and chip, but this adds character and patination.
The base is a platform base with Dragoon carving and it stands on original brass casters. Also having two drawers to the frieze and folding leaves to the sides, makes this both a practical and beautiful piece of furniture, ideal for a hallway or behind a sofa. This is a really lovely piece of original British furniture.
