An unusual set of 6 mid to late 19th Century Gothic style oak dining chairs.
I've chosen these as a Martin's favourite because they are an unusual, smart set of dining chairs. Having well-crafted turned legs and stretchers, stuff over seats and upholstered backs. The wooden framed backs have a lovely fish scale carved decorative boarder, which I like very much. We would take the castors off the front and replace them with a small dowelled extension, all polished to match.
We will also give them the full Taylors treatment, check the frames over, strengthening, over staining, waxing and making them fit for purpose. They will look great.
