Description

A fantastic quality set of late 19th Century oak dining chairs, circa 1890. Carved top rail, upholstered central section, galleried area to the lower section. These are a great example of a quality made chair. Having an open framed back for upholstery, adds to the great feast of features for the eyes!

Each chair gets checked over, restored, and made as solid as can be. All by our team of restorers and upholsterers here in Stafford.

We want our chairs to be as good as they can be, that’s why we will:

  • Remove all of the current upholstery
  • Knock the frame apart replacing any broken dowels
  • Glue and clamp the frame back together
  • Make any required repairs and re-set new corner blocks (if applicable)
  • Turn new feet, in keeping with the chair leg, to replace castors (if applicable)
  • Apply new foam for seating
  • And finally, upholster each chair in COM (customer’s own material)

If you have any questions, or require additional images, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help.
