This, believe it or not, is a piece of furniture that I’ve only had two of in all my years of being an antique dealer! It’s known as conversation seat or (which I prefer), a loveseat. Made of walnut, Mid-19th Century, Circa 1850 and in totally original condition.
Trust me this is a rare piece of English furniture and would be ideal in a hall, in a bedroom, a landing... it’s a real conversation piece.
